What to expect
- Sizes & base price: Small ~5″ ($5) · Medium ~15″ ($30) · Large ~30″ ($60) — measurements are approximate
- Details add cost: more detail or extras raise the total above the size base
- Lead time: usually 1–3 weeks depending on design and queue
- Materials: paper structure & scales, paint, glue (cardboard available on request — limited)
- Extras: Moving Eyes ($3), Fur ($8), Neck ($5), Clay ($10), Matching paper egg ($1)
- Payment: after the design is confirmed — not charged automatically (Venmo / PayPal / cash for local pickup)
How to commission
Two ways to order custom
Pick what fits — basic picks from the form, or a fully custom plan with your own ideas and references.
Basic selection
Choose style, size, colors, and extras from the form (friendly / fierce / cute, ears & eyes vibe in the notes, etc.). Good when you want a classic Braincell dragon without a full design brief.
Fully custom
Describe the dragon in the form and upload reference photos (up to 25 MB each). OCs, book characters, and one-of-a-kind builds welcome.
Ideas only (cheap)
Don’t need a full puppet yet? Request dragon puppet ideas only — sketches / concepts at a lower price so you can plan a later build.
Cautions
What I may need to simplify
Some designs push what paper & cardboard can do. Very detailed dragons, tight teeth gaps, complex jaw mechanics, or other intricate features may need to be simplified so the puppet stays sturdy and playable.
If your idea is super detailed, say so in the order form — I’ll be honest about what’s realistic, what might change, and how that affects price and timeline before anything is built.
